Classes take place at Camp Paradise (44 Cole St. Beverly)

In this three-week class, students will learn about the ancient art of stained-glass through making their own stained-glass keepsake objects. Stained-glass is a fascinating art with a multiple steps process; in this class, participants will learn how to cut, grind, foil and solder to complete a beautiful stained glass window piece. No prior glass experience is required for this class, although students with some stained-glass experience will enjoy this class as well. All materials provided, including a vast array of colorful glass to choose from.

Instructor Bio:

Anya Ciarametaro has been working with glass since 2012 after falling in love with the art form at Salem State University. After pursuing a minor in 3-Dimensional Art in order to take every glass class possible, she went on to teach glassblowing to tweens at Camp Chateaugay in upstate New York. After 10 years of elementary school extracurricular education administration brought her back to working with glass, she now is a glass teacher again with North Shore Glass School in Salem, MA. Anya lives with her husband, daughter, and what she likes to describe as a "small zoo" in Rowley, Massachusetts, and is elated to be able to teach anyone and everyone to fall in love with glass just as she did.

North Shore Glass School: North Shore Glass School is a small glass education establishment in Salem, Massachusetts. NSGS offers both in-studio and mobile fused glass classes, as well as stained glass and flameworking classes. Owned by seasoned glass artists Michael Hall and Matthew Cronin, NSGS is a warm and welcoming place for all ages to explore and learn more about the ancient art of glasswork.
