INSTRUCTOR BIO: Ashley Doke discovered her passion for printmaking during her undergraduate studies at Salem State University, where she fell in love with the medium. Throughout her undergraduate and master’s programs, she honed her skills in linocut and woodblock printing.

Ashley’s art is known for its spooky, magical, and dark aesthetic, often featuring skeletons, elements of nature, and imaginative creatures. Her work predominantly employs high-contrast black and white imagery, characterized by bold lines and intricate patterns.

While linocut remains her primary focus, Ashley also explores other mediums including watercolors, paintings, and drawings.
