Greatest Showman at Lynch Park

The Summer Movie Series takes place on Sundays after concerts at the Lynch Park shell. Admittance to the park is free after 5. Movies start as soon as it is dark enough. This is usually 8:30 early in the summer and closer to 8 in August. Bring a blanket to sit on and come watch some classics!

In 2017, Hugh Jackman released a new musical about P.T. Barnum to little fanfare and no studio expectation…and it became a smash hit with a beloved soundtrack and an Oscar nod to boot. Now you can enjoy the film with your family and friends this summer at Lynch Park.

Growing up in the early 1800s, P.T. Barnum displays a natural talent for publicity and promotion, selling lottery tickets by age 12. After trying his hands at various jobs, P.T. turns to show business to indulge his limitless imagination, rising from nothing to create the Barnum & Bailey circus. Featuring catchy musical numbers, exotic performers and daring acrobatic feats, Barnum's mesmerizing spectacle soon takes the world by storm to become the greatest show on Earth.
