INSTRUCTOR BIOs:

Kait O'Sullivan: After starting running at the age of 8, Kait was immediately hooked on the sport. From running local 5ks with her dad as a child, Kait then went on to become a 4 time NCAA DIII All-American in Track, including 2 runner up finishes in the 800 meters. She has also competed in the USATF Indoor Championships in the mile event and the US 15K road championships, and narrowly missed the Olympic Trials standard in the Marathon. A USATF Level I Coach, Kait now looks forward to sharing the joy of the sport with our community, starting with our youngest participants as they explore the fun of track and field and learning new skills.

Kelly McLay: Kelly fully admits there was a time when she did not love running. Growing up playing soccer, softball & basketball in Beverly and taking on springboard diving in college, running was not her sport of choice. A diagnosis in her early 20's would change that and introduce her to the marathon. When she once couldn't run a mile, Kelly has run for the past 18 years, completing over 70 marathons around the world, including a marathon on all 7 continents twice (once in just 7 days!). Kelly is now extremely passionate about running as she owns and operates Fitness International Travel here in Beverly. She is a Level I RRCA Coach, has valued the lessons running has instilled, and has enjoyed many a race finish with her littles. She cannot wait to bring that fun to local kids!
